Washington may be stuck in gridlock, but that has not stopped me from fighting for you. I’m working every day to drive meaningful change in Washington and get results for Nebraska families.
I ran for Congress promising to lower taxes, secure our border, and cut wasteful spending. I supported the largest tax cut in American history, passing No Tax on Tips, Overtime, and Social Security. I voted to fund border security measures that have helped bring illegal border crossings to the lowest level in 50 years. Our deficit is shrinking because of cuts to wasteful government spending.
I’ve also worked across party lines to tackle real challenges facing Nebraskans, like the rising cost of housing. I wrote a bipartisan bill to make housing more affordable and attainable for Nebraska families.
And I’m fighting to make our federal tax dollars work better for Nebraska. I’ve secured over $100 million in federal funding for community projects that strengthen public safety, improve infrastructure, and help our communities grow.
I’m running for re-election because there is more work to do. Paychecks still aren’t going far enough. Washington is still spending too much. And we must do more to stand up to foreign adversaries like Communist China and protect America’s security.
