Lincoln, Neb. – Republican Congressman Mike Flood will participate in a televised 1st Congressional District debate, to be held on Sunday, September 15th at 2:00 PM. The debate will be hosted by Nebraska Public Media in Lincoln with partnering outlets the Nebraska Examiner, the Lincoln Journal Star, the Omaha World-Herald, and KRVN Rural Radio Network.
“Nebraskans sent me to Congress to focus on the issues that matter to our families: securing the border, reining in inflation, strengthening our economy, and keeping our communities safe,” said Congressman Flood. “I look forward to sharing more about my work and outlining the very clear choice voters face in this election.”
Aaron Sanderford, the Nebraska Examiner’s political reporter, will moderate the hour-long debate. A panel of journalists from Nebraska Public Media, the Lincoln Journal Star, the Omaha World-Herald, and KRVN Rural Radio Network will ask questions.
The debate will be broadcast live on Nebraska Public Media and partnering outlets’ TV, radio, and digital platforms. It will also be re-aired by Nebraska Public Media throughout the following week.
