RELEASE: Flood Admits He's "Kind Of A Nerd" In Latest TV Spot

NORFOLK, NE – Today, the Mike Flood for Congress campaign released its second television ad, "Nerd," highlighting Mike Flood's record of business and conservative policy accomplishments.

"I'm a husband, a father, a job-creator, a conservative Republican, and to be honest... kind of a nerd," Flood acknowledges in the ad. Flood touts his accomplishments in building a successful business, creating jobs, and forging a conservative record of results in the Nebraska Legislature, including passing the first 20-week abortion ban in America based on the science of fetal pain.

"While Jeff Fortenberry is focused on avoiding a prison sentence for the felonies he's been charged with, Mike Flood is still hard at work to get things done for Nebraska," said Flood campaign manager Ryan Kopsa. "Voters can count on Mike to work tirelessly in Congress to defend their interests, fight socialism, and take back our country from the Radical Left."

The ad can be viewed here. A full verbatim is below.

"Nerd"

Flood: "I'm Mike Flood. I'm a husband, a father, a job-creator, a conservative Republican, and to be honest... kind of a nerd.

"I started a neighborhood newspaper in 1984, when I was nine. I started in radio at 15, founded my own station at 24, and built a business employing nearly 200 Nebraskans.

"In the Legislature, I passed the most sweeping abortion ban in America, historic tax relief, and concealed carry.

"I'm Mike Flood, and I approve this message, because, well... nerds get things done."
